Susilo crashed out...
Singapore's 44-year Olympic medal drought is set to go on to its 45th year. Singapore's Ronald Susilo crashed out of the Men's singles badminton after losing to Ponsana in straight sets 10-15, 1-15.
Ronald's 2nd set performance was horrible. Susilo made many unforced errors by hitting the shuttlecock out of bounds and into the net. This explains his 1-15 second set loss. Coincidentally, this was how Susilo managed to win world number one Lin Dan in the first round.
It's really a pity that Susilo is out of the tournament after making it this far...
