Exhausting JC life
Every Thursday, I have to endure 3 hours of non-stop tutorial lessons. Every tutorial lasts for an hour, with 3 straight tutorials for Maths, Economics and Chemistry from 1.15pm to 4.15pm. It's the worst time-table I've ever had, and it's starting to take the toll on me. Today, I skipped lunch to attend a talk held by the University of Caterbera in New Zealand. It was probably a wrong decision as the University specialised more in Arts subjects than in Science subjects like engineering. So I kind of wasted the time there. As I did not eat anything before that, I had to endure the 3 hours of tutorial in hunger. I'd rather have a 30 mins break in between... I'll definitely treasure the lunch break which is before the grueling 3-hour tutorial session, from now on.
Tomorrow is Jing Hang's birthday. She's one of the 9 people in my NJ TRP clique. It's really special to still be able to maintain quite frequent contact even when we're in different JCs. It's the first time I've made good friends in just a short period of 3 months, I still find it quite amazing.
Anyway, we celebrated her birthday today as some of us could not make it tomorrow. We went to Jack's Place near AJC where she studied. Luckily Jack's Place had a student's meal, or else we'd be paying $15 instead of $6.50 (for the student's meal) for the dinner there. They even bought cake and Jack's Place played a kiddy happy birthday song while presenting Jing Hang the cake. It was really nice though.
Thinking about it, my birthday is still 7 months away and it'll probably not be the happiest of my birthdays as it is very near the A level exams.
Crunch time for everyone!
