StarHub-ESPN EPL Dispute

*The analogy*
"StarHub versus ESPN, whoever wins, we lose"

The Alien v Predator slogan is most rightly used is this situation.
Currently, ESPN is having a dispute with Starhub on the deal to broadcast 'LIVE' English Premier League (EPL) matches on StarHub's Cable TV network. From what I know, ESPN is asking for 6 times the amount of money from Starhub in order to go ahead with the deal.

ESPN is a brand well-known worldwide for broadcasting sport events. It'll be a very sad if StarHub and ESPN cannot come to a compromise as this will mean NO more EPL matches for Singaporeans. :(
So far, I've heard that both companies have yet to come to a compromise and ESPN will stop showing EPL matches in Singapore.

If StarHub wins and manage to settle the dispute by paying 6 times the amount of money, subscribers will lose by having to pay higher subscription fees.
If ESPN wins, subscribers will again lose as they will not be able to watch EPL matches anymore.
So whatever the case, we subscribers lose regardless of who wins... :(
So unfair.
