Tsuami kills more than 20,000

Man walks past a destroyed building in Aceh (CNN.com)

Just when everyone was celebrating the joyful moments of Christmas here in Singapore, thousands of people drowned in the most devastating natural disaster in 40 years.

Visit www.cnn.com for up-to-date information to this tragedy.

I mourn the death of the victims of this tragedy. May they rest in peace...

I found this web from HardwareZone Forums which I surf -every- day.

Christmas - Easily the Best Time of the Year!

I heard this slogan of an advertisement over the radio during my trip in New Zealand. It's so true! The season of giving and sharing and most importantly, fun and enjoy is finally here!

Pictures of my trip to New Zealand

These pictures were taken with a Kodak 3MP camera. Some do not turn out really well, but most of the images are still very clear. I've posted some of the many pictures I've taken. If you want more pictures, just message me via MSN and I'll be more than happy to share them with you. :)

Close-up shot of the Geyser. There's a faint rainbow in the background, it's a beautiful sight. P.S. Geysers are natural hotsprings which shoots out evaporated water (steam) Posted by Hello

Posting from New Zealand

I'm currently posting from a cybercafe in Auckland, New Zealand. It charges NZ$2 per hour and the internet speed is as fast as my Singapore broadband speed.

My comments of New Zealand? It's a very scenic country with a high cost of living. Food costs more than NZ$8 which converts to about S$10. I ate a plate of fish & chips and it cost me NZ$8. Chinese food is so much more expensive than in Singapore. One bowl of noodles costs NZ$8-NZ$10. My family and I normally eat ala-carte in restaurants or in fast-food restaurants like KFC, McDonalds and Burger King.

My digital camera's 256MB SD Card is almost full with about 30 or so more shots left to take. I'll sort out the pictures after I reach home and will post it here in my blog to show everyone the beautiful scenery and exotic culture of New Zealand.

Another thing to note is that the Kiwis (New Zealanders) are very friendly. You walk into any store or shop, the cashier or stallholder will greet you with a wide smile.
In Singapore, you'll not get any greetings and may even receive rude treatment. Singapore still has a long way to go in terms of social interaction or whatever you call it.

I'll end my post now. I'd be returning soon, till then, good day everyone! :)
